I am going to update the forums to PHPBB3 among other things, to help combat the spam bot that we’ve got creating user accounts all willy-nilly on us.

Since the forums do not have a ton of useful information in them, I’m thinking that I am just going to create a new DB and wipe the old ones. I’ll contact everyone to re-register in a bit.

Thanks to the hard work of our beloved member and friend Neysa we are blessed with a fantastic set of site imagery and a theme that I feel fits in perfectly with our chosen realm of Destruction.

The forums are back online! Because of some technical issues we have yet been unable to migrate the old database over to the new phpbb format, so everything has been reset. The forums are set to self-registration, so get registered and drop me a line via Email.

The current version of the site is just a temporary skin that I installed because I was sick of looking at what we had setup by default. Holly has volunteered her time to create some slick graphics and a skin to accompany them for both the website as well as the forums, which I will likely install this weekend.

Also, for the time being I have an RSS page setup that links the most recent news topics from the following websites: The Warhammer Herald, WarhammerVault, WAR-RVR. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any info about a Warhammer Alliance RSS feed.

The site will be changing dramatically over the next few days so stay tuned and be sure to register on the forums once I get them set up!
